Speaker: Mink Pinster

Studied Audiovisual Design at the St. Joost academy and in the meanwhile got involved in Jam de la Creme, an annual festival held on the beach. The aim of the festival is to have artists from different backgrounds and genres, perform together on stage in a jam session. His participation in Jam de la Creme is a clear signal for a passion for music. For example, in his documentary Ja, dat is Den Haag! he made a portrait of the local music scene of The Hague.

Pecha Kucha Den Haag

The first PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. It has since expanded to hundreds of cities across the globe, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat”, PechaKucha rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It’s a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace. Next edition will be at Filmhuis Den Haag, December 8th.
