Speaker: Shireen van Dorp

This former bike courier, now graphic designer, activist is a resident of De Illusie. This cultural breeding ground is very near to turning twenty, but if it’s up to the city of The Hague, will close soon. Many artists, whether pro or semi-pro, and other creatives, work and live here together. It’s a stage for experimental and non-conformist music and a variety of art expositions and performances. Everything done independently.

We asked Shireen to come speak about her work for De Illusie, not only because of inspiration, but also to show support for the good cause. Two days after PKDH#3, a trial will take place on whether the residents/artists will keep their home/workspace.

Check out the support website for De Illusie for more on the situation.
